CS2 Wallhack and ESP Explained: What You Can See and How to Use It

A beginner friendly look at CS2 wallhack and ESP options, from boxes and skeletons to bomb information and radar.

Wallhack and ESP are two terms people often use for the same thing. Both give you information about enemies that the game normally keeps hidden. Here is what that actually looks like in CS2.

Wallhack and ESP, simply put

A wallhack lets you see players through walls. ESP, which stands for extra sensory perception, adds information on top of that, such as health or the weapon someone is holding. Most cheats combine the two, and the overlay is drawn on your screen so you can read positions and details at a glance.

The options you will see most

CS2 cheat menus usually include a mix of the following:

  • Box ESP. A box around each player, so you can see where they are.
  • Skeleton ESP. A simple outline of the player model, useful for reading posture and direction.
  • Health and armor. Shows how hurt an enemy is, which helps you decide whether to push a fight.
  • Weapon ESP. Shows what the enemy is holding, so you know if you are facing a rifle or a pistol.
  • Name ESP. Shows the player name.
  • Sound ESP. Marks where footsteps and other sounds come from.
  • Bomb information. Shows the status of the bomb during a round.

Keep the screen readable

More information is not always better. A screen filled with every option at once makes it hard to react. A better approach is to pick a few features that answer the questions you ask most often, such as where enemies are, how healthy they are and what they carry, and turn the rest off. Adjustable colors help, because you can pick shades that stand out against each map without blending into it.

Radar as a companion

A radar view gives you a top down look at positions. Some players use it alongside ESP, and others use it when they want a lighter touch. Premium versions list radar options as part of the feature set.

Using it wisely

Seeing through walls is powerful, and playing as if you can see everything can look suspicious. Most players who want to stay low profile avoid reacting to information they could not plausibly know. As with any cheat, there is a risk of detection and bans, so use it on an account you are prepared to lose.

If you want to try ESP without paying, the free version covers the main visuals, including box, skeleton, health, armor, weapon and sound ESP plus bomb information.
