What Should You Confirm Before Purchasing a UGC Tool?

Closed thread Closed by archive

Looking at a product called UGC, but the name alone doesn't tell me much.

Before purchasing something like this, what details would you want to see on the product page?

I'm thinking the exact purpose of the software, what it includes, supported games or environments, system requirements, and license information.

Anything missing from that list?

I really don't want to spend money and then discover I misunderstood what the product actually does.

The exact function should be explained first. If that's unclear, the rest doesn't matter.

Also check whether the listed features are actually included in the price or sold separately.

Good point. Didn't think about separate add-ons.

Check renewal terms too. Some people look only at the initial price.

And make sure the supported environment is explicitly mentioned. Never assume compatibility.

Basically, don't buy an acronym. Buy a clearly described product.
