Does anyone know what information is useful when a CS2 tool suddenly stops launching after a game update?

I'm not asking for shortcuts or random fixes. I just want to know what I should check before contacting support.

Should I collect the error message, Windows version, game version, and product version?

Also, is it better to wait for official compatibility confirmation instead of repeatedly trying to open it?
